Op 17 en 18 maart 2012 wordt in loge Johannesburg in Zuid Afrika de tweejaarlijkse Nationale Conventie gehouden. Het thema van de Conventie is “2012 en verder – een theosofisch perspectief”. De General Secretary van de Zuidafrikaanse sectie van de Theosophical Society stuurde een uitnodiging voor deze conventie, maar schreef ook dat hij zich bewust was van de grote afstand tussen ons. De voorzitter van de TVN heeft een groet gestuurd voor deze gelegenheid.

Dear National Presidents, General Secretaries and Regional Representatives,
We would like to extend a warm invitation to you and your section/region to our Bi Annual National Convention. It will be held at the Johannesburg Lodge in Gauteng, South Africa on 17 & 18th March 2012. This year’s theme is “2012 AND BEYOND — A THEOSOPHIC PERSPECTIVE”.
We are aware that the distances involved may prevent your attendance, but we would value a greeting from you to be read at the opening ceremony. Greetings received from all over the world add to the energy and awareness of the international nature of the Society and enhance its very purpose.
Please give my personal greetings as well as those of the Southern African Section to all the members in your Section or Region.
